Copper & Bronze Jellyfish made in metals class last semester.. The top domed part was done on the hydraulic press, with chasing done beforehand & it was later buffed with some rouge. Bottom of the jelly was drilled in the central part with 18ga. drill bit many times & 18ga copper wire and a much tinier aluminum wire were threaded in and out to hang down and make his "tentacles" or whatever they are called on a jellyfish. The top was then riveted to the bottom, the bottom was done with a satin finish, wires were forged and twisted into the shapes seen here and viola! Jellyfish. All cold connections, no soldering or heat involved besides the initial annealing of the metals.
